The
Amarillo Senior Citizens Association is a private nonprofit organization
that has served the senior citizen population of Amarillo and
the surrounding area since 1973. ASCA's center provides
nutritious meals, many activities and is open seven days a week
to ensure that the needs of the seniors will be met. The senior
AIDES Employment Program provides job training and placement
for low income seniors 55 and over.
ASCA is conveniently located downtown in the Center City
area in a large and beautiful building that has a 7,500 sq.
ft. area for dining and dancing, a computer room with 14 terminals,
4 meeting and seminar rooms, a pool/snooker room, a quilt room,
and ample parking. Anyone 45 or older can join for $35 per year
with contributing levels above that.
